dry rope is a technique of ceramic decoration, born in Al-Andalus in late S. X, which is mainly used to decorate tiles.
profiles were all drawing fat with a mixture of honey, manganese and thinner which gives a dark edge. This mixture defines the different compartments that subsequently are filled with oxides, once cooked, will result in the final colors.
